Bill Gregory brings a perspective to buy-side advisory that purely financial advisors cannot replicate. He has been a founder, a PE-backed executive, and a seller, and he has sat across the table in all three roles.

Bill co-founded Light Networks, a provider of communications and contact center solutions, where he served as Co-CEO and later President & COO over nearly 12 years. Light Networks was acquired by Anexinet in 2021. Following the acquisition, he served as Executive Vice President, Customer Experience at Verinext, the combined platform formed by the merger of Anexinet and Veristor.

Prior to Light Networks, Bill held sales leadership roles at Avaya, Presidio, and BellSouth. His technical fluency spans contact center, unified communications, cloud CX platforms, including Genesys, NICE, and Five9, as well as managed services and route/switch infrastructure.

That combination of founder, PE-backed executive, and seller is the foundation of Agentive Capital’s advisory work. Every engagement draws on firsthand experience of what a transaction feels like from each seat at the table.
